Starbuck’s new endeavor will be in the midst of an architecturally chic district. Aligning with architectural elements in the neighborhood was paramount to Starbucks. The solution is a center piece creation, a 2,500 SF, modern steel structure design, featuring a pedestrian plaza, and accented with an open interior design to maximize ambience creating a tranquil café atmosphere. This will allow Starbucks to retain its visual uniqueness and project internal and external aesthetics.
The coffee shop will be concentrated within a residential complex of condominiums, and residential units adjacent to 2.5 million SF of government and professional office area, all within a 10-block radius.
70% of Starbucks profits are generated from drive-thru sales according to officials. City planners speculate that this drive-thru is probably going to be the last of its kind in the foreseeable future.
